The resurrection of Jesus is artistically depicted by the Rabbula Gospels, a Syrian book from the 6th century. It depicts the earliest scene of the crucifixion of Jesus, on the top panel. His resurrection, too, is depicted in the lower panel. The text is the Peshitta version of the Syriac Gospels.
